Consumers vote Frierss ham into the winner's places

The large market innovation study 2021 confirms with the 1st place highest purchase attractiveness for Frierss Zirbenrauchschinken from the consumer's point of view, the 2nd place goes to Frierss Kärntner Bauernschinken (cat. sausage & ham).

The study with over 300 submitted products creates clarity as to which innovation is unique and motivates people to buy. "We are very happy about the victory of our new Zirbenrauchschinken and our Kärntner Bauernschinken 120g in the current market innovation study, which confirms that our ham specialities have the greatest purchase incentive among all new consumer launches (May 2020 to April 2021)," says Rudolf Frierss. 

"The ingenious idea of smoking our ham over local Swiss stone pine wood from the Nockberge mountains, which gives it its particularly hearty taste with a subtle hint of stone pine, was just as convincing as Austria's most popular traditional ham, Frierss Carinthian Farmer's Ham, newly sliced in the self-service pack." The successful product launch is reflected in Austria-wide listings of both hams in delicatessen counters and self-service shelves respectively.
