The award "Austria's Best Bratwurst 2021" goes to the Gailtaler Bratwurst with Carinthian bacon from Frierss, awarded at the national bratwurst tasting by the magazine "Zeit für GENUSS Grillen Sommer 2021".
Just in time for the barbecue season, the best bratwursts in Austria were selected. Under the direction of meat diploma sommelier Johannes Rottensteiner, 23 renowned Austrian bratwursts were tasted. Frierss Gailtaler Bratwurst convinced the jury and was awarded 1st place with 4.9 out of 5 points. "Smoky and smoky notes and nutmeg, bacon, perfect mouthfeel, wonderful" was the jury's review.
"This award is a confirmation of our uncompromising pursuit of the best taste. For the Gailtaler Bratwurst with Carinthian bacon, we process only particularly lean, local beef and pork by hand. The finely cut Carinthian bacon cubes and the specially created spice mixture give this grilled speciality its first-class taste with a delicate hint of bacon." Rudolf Frierss proudly. The Gailtaler Bratwurst with Carinthian bacon is available in well-stocked shops and in the Frierss specialist shops.
