Tradition and family recipes are the every day lived basis for the uniqueness of Frierss specialities. Therefore employees, the old family recipes, the high skills of our masters and a close connection and positive attitude towards a natural environment are still the most important assets of Frierss.

Frierss - the taste of quality

The wonderful and untouched nature is one of Austria’s biggest treasures. In international comparison Austria has a considerable share of small scale family-owned farms, which pay close attention to appropriate husbandry and natural feeding. From these farms – mainly located in Carinthia and neighbouring Styria – Frierss receives its fresh meat of superior quality.

Awarded many times

Frierss received hundreds of awards and gold medals for its superior products since its foundation in 1898. The first gold medal was already won at the World Fair in Paris in 1910.

During the last years all products which were handed in to international contests were awarded a prize. Furthermore the company received certificates for being a recommended supplier of hotels and restaurants. Last but not least a big number of satisfied and loyal customers is another evidence of the high quality level offered by Frierss.
